Barbara Battin came to Sinclair Community College in 2002. Previously she served in congregational ministry at six Presbyterian churches in Illinois, Minnesota, and Ohio as well as working in campus ministry at Kent State University and The College of Wooster. Currently a member of the Miami Presbytery, she moderates its Social Justice Committee and is active in peacemaking programs and interfaith dialogue. Her other interests include the growing conversation between science and religion, nonviolence education, service learning, spiritual formation, holistic health and healing, leading retreats and prayer groups. She has completed the Certificate Program for Group Leaders at the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and English, a Master of Divinity degree, and Doctor of Ministry degree in spirituality.

Jane Steinhauser has served as campus minister to the Sinclair Community for the past twenty-one-years. She is also the Director of Campus Ministry for the Catholic Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Her interests lie in spiritual growth and development, emotional health and healing, retreat work and ministerial formation. Professional active in the arenas of spirituality and creativity, Artprayer and pastoral counseling, Jane is a licensed therapist and also teaches in the Lay Pastoral Ministry Program of the Archdiocese. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in education, a Master of Divinity degree, and a Doctor of Ministry degree.
